USA Health in Mobile, AL is seeking a Storeroom Clerk to support receiving, storing, issuing stores and laboratory items, and maintain perpetual inventory. You will help ensure accurate records and timely distribution of supplies to clinical and laboratory areas.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years clerical experience, including handling storeroom materials. Driving may be required for local deliveries; candidates must meet driving record requirements.

• 2 years clerical experience, one of which must have been in receiving, storing, shipping, and issuing stores and/or laboratory items
• Specified positions may require possession of a valid driver's license and maintenance of a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage under the University of South Alabama.

Responsabilidades

• This is responsible work in the operation and administration of a storeroom
• Responsible for participating in the receiving, recording, storing, and issuing a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies
• Maintaining records and accountability for store items
• Servicing and maintaining equipment
• Recommending the purchase of equipment and supplies
• Checking of incoming materials for quantity and quality against invoices or purchase orders reporting discrepancies to a supervisor
• Issues supplies on approved requisitions
• Prepares and maintains a perpetual inventory system for all storeroom and laboratory supplies and equipment
• Participates in the care and maintenance of storeroom and supplies and equipment
• Assembles, packs, and arranges for transport all stored goods and materials
• Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
• Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
• Regular and prompt attendance
• Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
• Related duties as assigned

Additional Information

Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years clerical experience, one of which must have been in receiving, storing, shipping, and issuing stores and/or laboratory items. Required
• Specified positions may require possession of a valid driver's license and maintenance of a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage under the University of South Alabama.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
