A leading hospital is looking for a motivated individual to maintain laboratory supplies and equipment to ensure smooth operational flow. The candidate will assist in record-keeping and maintaining a safe departmental environment. Previous experience in supply management is preferred, alongside strong communication skills.
Maintains established levels of laboratory supplies and equipment. Assists in establishing and maintaining a system of records for all equipment and supplies. Maintains a clean and safe environment in the department. Acts as a liaison between laboratory and materials management department. Maintains knowledge of current resources available to the department. Assists with other duties as assigned.
Education/Licensure/Certifications:High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:Minimum of two years experience in the maintenance of supplies is preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities:Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must possess basic computer skills for order entry and e-mail.
