Job description

Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry, has an immediate opening for a Supply / Integrated Business Planning Analyst for a 12 month + Contract. This role offers an opportunity to work with like-minded, self-directed, and detail-oriented professionals in a collaborative environment.

The purpose of this role is to transform data into insights, analyze performance KPIs, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend improvements for the franchise team. Responsibilities include developing analytical tools for diagnostics, supporting daily, weekly, and monthly planning processes, and interfacing with various functional teams.

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
  • Create KPI reports and diagnostics to identify root causes of performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in developing content for weekly demand and supply execution, including back order status and risk assessments.
  • Contribute to monthly IBP milestones with relevant content and insights for management decision-making.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of IBP content for management review.
  • Support development and maintenance of local planning tools, such as capacity planning and safety stocks.
  • Generate management reports to support operational processes and provide insights.
  • Prepare executive communications for weekly and monthly updates.
  • Track product phase-in and phase-out statuses to monitor portfolio changes.
  • Develop strategic portfolio segmentation to optimize planning, inventory, and forecasting strategies.
  • Create project management tracking documents for key improvement initiatives.
  • Learn and utilize planning systems and ERP tools effectively.
  • KPIs may include kit utilization, supply plan attainment, safety stock health, capacity utilization, back orders, forecast error, and bias.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Statistics.
  • Proficiency in English; second language preferred depending on location.
  • Minimum 2 years in reporting or analytics; entry-level candidates considered.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in BI tools like QlikView, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in analytics within consulting or corporate environments is preferred.
