Job summary

Boot Barn in Irvine, CA seeks a full-time Supply Chain & Vendor Compliance Analyst to coordinate shipments, manage vendor relations, and improve cost efficiency. The role partners with vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure accurate costs and compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have strong Excel and ERP experience, solid communication, and meticulous problem-solving abilities in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
• 1–3 years in a corporate retail environment, preferably in Supply Chain, Planning, Buying, Allocation, Vendor Compliance, or related.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, track, and communicate the status of inbound domestic and international shipments.
• Partner with vendors, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and Distribution Center teams to support timely delivery and receipt of merchandise.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, transportation providers, and other supply chain partners.
• Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and accurate movement of shipments.
• Identify, recommend, and support cost-saving initiatives related to freight, transportation, vendor compliance, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Run reports in Aptos and provide updates to the appropriate business partners.
• Process merchandise cost updates using vendor price lists, Excel, and the ERP system.
• Maintain and audit merchandise style costs to ensure accuracy.
