Position Summary

The Supply Chain Training and Support Senior Analyst will not only deliver and support training programs for our supply chain/replenishment planning teams, it will provide flexibility and backup support for replenishment teams needing staff coverage. Executes fulfillment plans for a specified division(s) utilizing the GFS forecasting/replenishment system and other software applications. Manages higher risk inventory and develops strategies to drive continuous improvement with customer in-stock performance, days on hand and product loss. Acts as the primary supplier contact for inventory and supplier related business needs. Coordinates and assists in training new and advanced functionality and tools. Reviews, recommends and makes changes to systems that will impact key KPI metrics, service level, product loss, days on-hand inventory, and forecast accuracy. Provides ongoing evaluation and continuous improvement of supply chain tools, technologies, and processes ensuring appropriate configuration with other applications. Displays a high level of proficiency in Supply Chain Systems and uses in-depth knowledge to guide the department with proper usage of tools and processes.

What You Will Do
Training Development and Delivery
  • Coordinate and facilitate training programs for new and existing supply chain employees, covering new systems, enhanced functionality, and best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and update training materials, process documentation, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement in productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide specialized systems training and support for organizational initiatives, including new DC openings, route realignments, and acquisitions.
Supply Chain Systems Support & Analysis
  • Serve as a liaison between system users and software development teams, facilitating requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution.
  • Analyze performance data and provide recommendations to management to optimize key metrics such as service levels, forecast accuracy, and inventory health.
  • Design and maintain reports and monitors to ensure data integrity and track system effectiveness.
  • Manage user support inquiries and help prioritize system projects and enhancements.
Replenishment Planning & Coverage
  • Provide dedicated backup support for Replenishment Planners by executing fulfillment plans, managing high-risk/high-value inventory, and releasing purchase orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Marketing, DC Operations) to ensure optimal inventory flow and alignment on market conditions.
  • Lead inventory management activities, including product conversions, seasonal buys, and the resolution of long/obsolete inventory.

Performs other duties as assigned.

When You Will Work
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
  • Hybrid Work Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day from home.
What You'll Bring To The Table
  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, Business Admin or related is required.
  • Five years progressive experience working with forecasting and replenishment tools, preferably within GFS Supply Chain or 2+ years superuser experience with supply chain tools used by GFS. In lieu of the specified education and experience requirements, a proven capability to perform the essential functions of the job, as demonstrated by an equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in the preparation of various documents and correspondence
  • Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and find root cause of system issues and user concerns
  • Has passion for learning new technologies and applications
  • Advanced knowledge of primary operating systems
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of end to end Supply Chain Management
  • Ability to find solutions for a variety of complex problem
  • Knowledge of primary operating systems and ERP Software.
