Supply Chain Technician - Stockroom/Distribution - Full Time - Days (93108)

ProMedica Toledo Hospital, a leading acute-care facility in the region, is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to perform physical and inventory-related tasks involving the receipt, storage, delivery, and replenishment of supplies and equipment across the hospital campus.

  1. Follow departmental policies, procedures, quality assurance programs, and safety standards.
  2. Check expiration dates, rotate stock, and remove excess inventory in managed locations.
  3. Order, deliver, and stock supplies for assigned departments, maintaining proper par levels and storage space.
  4. Promote teamwork and collaborate with co-workers, customers, and leadership to solve problems and improve supply chain processes.
  5. Process and deliver supply and equipment requests, determining the best method and timing of delivery.
  6. Unload, inspect, and document incoming materials and supplies, noting special storage or handling instructions.
  7. Enter patient charges and orders using vendor websites as directed.
  8. Collaborate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies.
  9. Manage outbound shipments efficiently, documenting tracking information and ensuring timely delivery.
  10. Demonstrate accountability, collaboration, reliability, dedication, and integrity in all supply chain activities.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to work independently and think critically.
  • Knowledge of Windows-based computer programs and capacity to learn specialized software.
  • Ability to understand instructions, communicate effectively, and respond to inquiries.
  • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in materials management is preferred.
