Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Centralia is seeking a hands-on Supply Room Associate to stock, receive, and distribute supplies across locations. You will ensure timely inventory and accurate records in a fast-paced environment, supporting a seamless patient care experience.

The role is onsite in Centralia, IL, with a day shift (6:00 am–4:00 pm variation as needed) and no on-call requirements. Previous experience is not required; a High School Diploma or GED is requested.

• Communicates the status of supply orders within and among departments. Fills all orders for customers in a timely manner.
• Informs leadership of any supply backorders or problems.
• Operates warehouse equipment as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Rare climbing.
