UofL Health in Louisville, KY is seeking a Supply Chain Tech I to support the Supply Chain Supervisor by organizing and maintaining supply rooms, delivering supplies, maintaining par levels, filling requisitions, and serving customers.

This role emphasizes inventory control, cycle counts, and collaboration with Lawson and third-party systems to ensure accurate stocking and timely shipments.

Qualifications

  • High school or GED required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years Supply Chain related experience preferred.
  • Team Management and/or Project Management preferred.
  • Must keep abreast of current trends/changes related to technology within healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the accurate maintenance of the supply inventory.
  • Daily restocking of shelves.
  • Rotates inventory.
  • Performs cycle counts or other inventories.
  • Notifies Supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory.
  • Supports and maintains inventory level for Lawson Par locations.
  • Able to provide basic troubleshooting for all automated inventory management systems.
  • Maintains clean and orderly stock locations.
  • Assists customers in person or by phone on VOCERA.
  • Processes shipment to stock or delivers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Basic Lawson functions.
  • Basic knowledge of 3rd party system utilized at facility.
  • Assist in packing case carts as needed.

Job Summary

The position of a Supply Chain Tech I is responsible for assisting the Supply Chain Supervisor to organize and maintain all Supply Rooms. Responsible for delivering supplies, maintain par levels, filling requisitions and responding to request. Providing optimal service to our customers.

Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):
