Job summary

The Logistics Company, Inc. seeks a Supply Technician to research, initiate, and resolve supply discrepancies within the Supply Division at Redstone Arsenal, AL. You will handle shortages, overages, misdirected shipments, and related issues using GCSS-ARMY and FEDLOG/WEBFLISS.

You will coordinate with Item Managers and Installation customers, prepare docs, track statuses, and ensure proper funding and shipping. On-site presence is required with occasional extended hours.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires excellent working knowledge of Government supply management procedures.
• Must be tactful and cooperative in dealing with others and discreet with materials.
• Attention to detail is critical.
• Must have knowledge of GCSS-ARMY and requisitioning NSN materials.

Responsibilities

• Research supply discrepancies using GCSS-ARMY and FEDLOG/WEBFLISS.
• Coordinate with Item Managers and installation customers to resolve variances.
• Prepare supply and transportation documentation.
• Track requisition statuses and perform follow-up actions.
• Input data and adjustments in GCSS-ARMY.
• Ensure funding and shipping requirements are met for shipments.
• Conduct inventories and issue supplies.
• Work with Government Inspectors to resolve receipt discrepancies.
• Assign locations to materials pending disposition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
