Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Dunn, NC is seeking a Distribution Technician to deliver supplies and equipment to hospital units. You will process pick tickets, stage orders, break down pallets, verify items, and maintain accurate records under supervision.

Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks, delivering to walk-in customers, coordinating with Purchasing and requestors, and supporting the mailroom duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid NC Real ID driver’s license (or U.S. Passport) is required.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred.
• 3 months’ experience performing tasks for Tech I before advancement to Tech II.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies and equipment to hospital units and walk-in customers with proper documentation.
• Process pick tickets and stage orders for deliveries to internal and external customers.
• Break down pallets and stock received items into inventory; verify items, codes and quantities.
• Safely operate manual/electric pallet jacks to deliver items; assist with mailroom duties.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, vendors and requestors regarding inbound supplies and issues.
• Perform rounds and restock units; handle Stat runs as needed.
• Assemble specialty kits for restocking on units.
