Job Summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator to support our team at our Iuka, Mississippi location. Position is onsite and does not accommodate telecommute/hybrid scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, tactical and execution support in supply chain business process areas, primarily manufacturing and logistics.
• Support manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.
• Prepare and coordinate required shipping documentation.
• Store, track and issue inventories.
• Coordinate with Property Management for shipping/receiving tooling and equipment.
• Monitor receipt of items and maintain shipment/receiving records.
• Assist Accounts Payable in processing invoices by providing shipment information.
• Ensure received parts/materials are staged for Quality Incoming Inspection.
• Order necessary shipping supplies.
• Maintain knowledge of workbooks, procedures, and forms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant work experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control and/or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain Secret Level Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Ability to obtain special program access.
• Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitive work including bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Position is on the B shift (Weekday NIGHTS - 4 10 hr shifts).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift and other freight moving equipment.
• Experience with safely loading and unloading trucks.
• Experience setting up shipments and/or coordinating with transportation brokers.
• Experience with classified white-glove shipping requirements.
• Experience using an MRP system for storing and issuing inventory.
• Experience with inventory with shelf life and/or out-time controls.
• Proficiency with MS Office for reports, logs, and briefings.
• Hazmat training and experience highly desired.

Salary and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $18.56 - $30.96 per hour. Salary is adjusted based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills and market conditions. Eligible employees may receive overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and additional benefits such as health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, paid time off for vacation or personal business, and possible long-term incentives for higher-level positions.
