Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA, is seeking a Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 1 to join a diverse team. The role supports multiple disciplines in supply chain processes, focusing on manual movement, shipping, and receiving of materials.

The position is in-office on a 4/10 schedule (Mon-Thurs, 5am-3:30pm) with no telecommuting option; SAP and MS Office experience are preferred. Elevator and forklift usage may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and walk or stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company-owned vehicles (potentially in the dark at times)
• Must possess and maintain an active, in-scope Secret US Government Security Clearance. Final clearance required to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from date of submission; this is a condition of employment. Program access required to start.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads and conveys materials at the plant or yard and performs tasks under direction.
• Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
• Conveys materials using hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects.
• Pulls kits and verifies quantities and part numbers.
• Wraps and packs kits to send to offsite locations.

Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

This position is located in Palmdale, CA. 4/10’s Mon-Thurs 1st Shift 5am-3:30pm. Position is in-office, unable to accommodate a telecommute/hybrid schedule.

Position Description

Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. These employees are primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience using a forklift/pallet jack.
• Prior experience using SAP.
• 6 Months of Warehouse/Kitting or relatable experience.
• MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.

Compensation and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $39,700.00 - $66,100.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
