Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks a Supply Chain Tech to put away, requisition, pick, distribute, and deliver general, medical, and surgical supplies across healthcare settings. You will manage and audit supply locations and support perpetual inventory accuracy in collaboration with Inventory Control and Workday processing.

The role requires ability to train staff, lift up to 40-50 lbs, operate pallet jacks, and work in a busy environment with strong communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years of professional experience preferred.
• At least 3 years' experience in Healthcare or Inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Put away, requisition, pick, distribute, and deliver general, medical, and surgical supplies.
• Manage supply room put away and scanning for OR and procedural areas.
• Audit supplies from storage locations for distribution and placement into Case Carts; restock Exchange Carts/Crashes/Procedural Carts.
• Assist with perpetual inventory accuracy by reviewing quick issue reports with Inventory Control for adjustments.
• Report inventory discrepancies and document according to policy/process.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Perform put away responsibilities for perpetual warehouse storage.
• Maintenance of supply room (labels, signage, dividers, overstock; comply with TJC regulations).
• Ability to train staff on essential job duties.
• Verify requisitions processed in Workday.

• Ability to work in a busy, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders to include coworkers, management, and clinical partners.
• Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal, including active listening.
• Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and problem solving.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks.
• Day to day duties include bending, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 40-50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to cover multiple areas at any time.
