Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking an inventory and supplies associate responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and equipment across the facility. You will document transactions, communicate with hospital teams, and maintain accuracy in all steps of the process.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2–3 years in material or distribution roles, basic math, ability to read and follow instructions, and experience with computerized inventory systems and handheld scanners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years previous experience in material/supply inventory and/or distribution, purchasing, or closely related field.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to operate computerized inventory system.
• Ability to use hand-held scanner to issue and track inventory.
• Ability to work independently, using judgment and problem solving skills as necessary to resolve customer service issues, order discrepancies, and as otherwise necessary in the performance of duties.
• Preferred: Medical supply or related experience.
