Job summary

National is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to lead warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and the distribution of equipment and parts. This role reports to the Field Services Manager and drives operational efficiency, cost control, and service reliability in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Qualifications include 3+ years in purchasing/warehouse/logistics, 1+ year in supervision, ERP experience, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in purchasing, warehouse mgmt, inventory control or logistics.
• 1+ year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management systems.
• Strong background with mechanical parts and systems.
• Experience with tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or diesel systems preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts).

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse and yard personnel to meet targets.
• Establish KPIs and accountability.
• Lead daily operations meetings and improve culture.
• Improve employee engagement and cross-training.
• Oversee end-to-end inventory lifecycle and accuracy.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.
• Improve inventory accuracy via cycle counts and audits.
• Negotiate pricing and optimize procurement strategies.
• Monitor vendor performance with on-time delivery and quality.
• Identify alternative sourcing strategies to mitigate risk.
• Implement lean process improvements to reduce inefficiencies.
• Develop SOPs for consistency and safety.
• Coordinate transportation schedules to meet deadlines.
