Join Donaldson Company's Supply Chain team as our next Supply Chain Supervisor at our Frankfort Plant! We are advancing filtration for a cleaner world by protecting the essential equipment that builds, feeds, and moves the world. In this role, you and your team will lead end-to-end supply chain operations for one of Donaldson's flagship manufacturing plants. You will supervise and improve workflows in areas including production planning, material purchasing, order management, inventory management, and logistics. Collaboration with relevant functional areas and interdisciplinary teams, both within and outside the facility, is essential to foster alignment and achieve shared goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Provide oversight to a team, ensuring effective workflow execution, driving process improvements, and resolving operational challenges promptly.
  2. Lead and inspire your team through mentoring, performance evaluations, career development initiatives, and rewards programs to enhance engagement and performance.
  3. Supervise salaried professionals and/or hourly operational employees in Scheduling, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Customer Service, and Shipping/Receiving.
  4. Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand forecasts with supply plans, improving customer service levels and cost efficiency.
  5. Manage production capacity utilization, including resource planning and overtime scheduling, to meet production timelines and labor efficiency goals.
  6. Oversee procurement, transportation, and warehousing of goods, ensuring material availability while optimizing inventory and costs.
  7. Monitor supplier performance and manage business relationships to ensure timely delivery and successful supplier projects.
  8. Drive initiatives to maintain a safe work environment, actively supporting plant Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs for compliance and safety.
  9. Engage with sales teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives, effectively meeting customer needs.
  10. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring open communication to address needs and resolve issues.
  11. Achieve key performance metrics, including on-time delivery and inventory turns, contributing to operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma and 5 years of relevant work experience or Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in production control, materials purchasing, inventory planning, scheduling, warehouse management, and logistics in manufacturing.
  • Certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD from APICS ASCM or similar.
  • Experience with ERP systems like Oracle E-Business Suite (R12).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence software for data mining and dashboards.
  • Background in Kaizen or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma or project management.
