Job summary

Inquis Medical, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory planning, supplier management, logistics, and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes cost efficiency, risk management, and adherence to FDA/QSR and ISO 13485 requirements. You will oversee supplier relationships, contract manufacturing, and production readiness for new products while driving continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10-12 years of progressive supply chain, procurement, operations, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience within medical device, life sciences, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare industry required.
• Experience managing contract manufacturers and global suppliers is required.
• Experience scaling supply chain processes and teams in growth/startup environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support growth and launches.
• Establish and improve supply planning, inventory management, forecasting, and procurement processes.
• Monitor key metrics and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead S&OP activities where applicable.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide recommendations to senior leadership on strategy, risks, and opportunities.
• Source, qualify, and manage suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, quality agreements, and supply agreements.
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, delivery, cost, and risk.
• Conduct supplier reviews and support audits with QA.
• Drive supplier development and performance initiatives.
• Manage inventory to balance continuity with cost efficiency.
• Develop inventory policies for materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate material planning to support production and programs.
• Support new product introductions with supplier readiness and capacity.
• Oversee shipping, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions and optimize freight.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and cost-reduction collaboration with Finance.
