Job summary

Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (LP Building Solutions) is seeking a Summer Intern to support the Supply Chain & Logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee from May 2027 to August 2027. This paid, full-time internship focuses on production planning, inventory management, data analysis, and forecasting to drive continuous improvement.

The role offers exposure to vendor-managed inventory, logistics planning, and cross-functional collaboration with executives and managers in LP’s supply chain network.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, preferably in (Supply Chain/Business/Data Analytics)
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Time management skills

Responsibilities

Production planning and raw material management
Overseeing vendor managed inventory program
Driving supply chain optimization tools and processes
Collecting and reporting on data to showcase trends and make decisions in each process
Sales order entry and management
Customer facing account management and forecasting
Rail and truck logistics planning
