Supply Chain Sr. Associate

Position type: Fulltime – Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: REMOTE

As Supply Chain Sr. Associate, you will:

Accountabilities
  1. Manage and improve the invoice verification process of freight invoices
  2. Manage and handle freight invoice process from invoice receipt till final approval via SAP workflow
  3. Manage invoice disputes with service providers and ensure adequate and timely resolution
  4. Manage annual PO process
  5. Ensure invoice dashboard is maintained to provide accurate data to support business decisions
  6. Maintain and improve KPIs and reports
  7. Manage relationship with third party freight auditing company
Responsibilities
  1. Regular performance and business reviews with supply chain partners on current business, escalations, reporting and improvements
  2. Identifies and develop plans to optimize internal processes and procedures
  3. Supports logistics managers and other internal stakeholders in escalating issues to supply chain partners
  4. Maintain and manage agreements with supply chain partners on invoice verification and payment
  5. Support Business analysis manager with financial data
  6. Ensures detailed data set is delivered to freight audited company by supply chain partners
  7. Ensure Client’s system output is delivered to freight audited company
  8. Execute ordering process to maintain distribution supporting materials at 3rd parties
Authority
  1. Works under minimal direction; work is guided by operational and project objectives
  2. Manages multiple assignments and processes independently
  3. Aligns upfront on dispute handling and invoice payments with Director Supply Chain
Outputs
  1. Purchase Orders representing distribution budget
  2. On time payment of verified freight invoices
  3. Professional dispute handling and resolution
  4. Accurate metrics on financial performance
Qualifications

The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.

Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor preferably in finance or logistics.
  2. 0-3 years experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  3. Quick process understanding, insight and visualizing
  4. Strong analytical skills (incl. MS Excel) and ability to distil insights
  5. Experience SAP and BW
  6. Knowledge of financial closing cycle.
  7. Natural relationship builder in which employer’s interests prevail: be soft and on the relationship when possible and be tough when needed
  8. Result focused and proven ability to deliver results
  9. Strong relational, negotiating and persuasion skills
  10. Oversee processes beyond own department
Preferred Requirements
  1. GMP and GDP knowledge
  2. Knowledge of Operational Excellence tools, six sigma, FMEA.
  3. Experience setting up service level agreements
  4. Good technical writing skills.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
