Job summary

Samsung Electronics America in Plano, TX is seeking a supply chain professional to lead demand planning and PSI coordination with Product Managers and Key Account Managers for timely delivery across networks.

You will develop automation for supply chain processes, strengthen forecasting with data analytics, and manage aging stock with the sales team while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency using SAP, Excel, and emerging LLM tools.

Qualifications

  • +3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management with experience in managing and developing direct reports.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related study preferred.
  • Microsoft Office proficient, particularly advanced Excel skills
  • SAP / Inventory planning up to 30 weeks out
  • Proficiency in leveraging Large Language Model (LLM) tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to enhance supply chain processes, improve decision-making, and automate workflows is a plus.
  • Experience in data analysis, machine learning, or process automation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare material for Demand Planning (PSI) and business update meetings in which critical supply and demand issues are discussed for decisions
  • Perform planning to secure sales and production visibility through improvement and stabilization of logic that provides Return to Forecast (RTF)
  • Analyze problems in the Supply Chain by managing mid to long-term demand and resources in advance in order to establish optimal supply chain.
  • Perform supply management with consideration for lead time of each country/region in order to prevent and manage aging stock in conjunction with the sales team
  • Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline supply chain processes, reduce manual efforts, and improve efficiency.
  • Utilize data analytics and programming skills to enhance demand forecasting models and optimize inventory management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation tools and technologies into supply chain operations.
