Insight Global is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist for a client in Tempe, AZ, onsite. The role involves supporting daily freight and transportation operations and analyzing data to drive improvements.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business and 1+ year experience with computers and MS Office, plus strong communication skills. The contract is 4 months with potential extensions and conversion.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day freight and transportation operations
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Pull and analyze data from multiple databases using Excel/data management systems
• Create ad hoc reports and publish performance metrics
• Identify root causes behind operational issues/defects
• Analyze trends and recommend process improvements
• Escalate data discrepancies/issues and follow through to resolution
• Summarize weekly findings, variances to goals, and key insights for review meetings

Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Tempe, AZ - onsite

Duration: 4-month contract with potential for extensions and conversion

Pay Rate: $21/hr

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably Supply Chain or Business
• 1+ year working with computers/Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Able to analyze data, identify trends/issues, and communicate findings

Nice to Haves

• Previous supply chain/logistics experience
• Scripting knowledge
