Job summary

Calculated Hire is hiring a Demand or Supply Planning SME for a Kinaxis RapidResponse implementation in Summit, NJ. The role focuses on defining future-state planning processes, validating requirements, and coordinating with IT and business leaders to ensure a successful go-live and stabilized post-implementation operations.

The candidate will bridge business needs with technical teams, translate current SAP APO workflows, and drive best practices across forecasting, inventory, and supply

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Demand or Supply Planning experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting a Kinaxis RapidResponse implementation.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, supply planning, and S&OP/IBP.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the business SME for Demand or Supply Planning during Kinaxis implementation.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements with IT and stakeholders.
• Translate current SAP APO processes into Kinaxis workflows and participate in design workshops, testing, and go-live support.
• Identify process improvements and promote planning best practices; support change management and end-user adoption.

Now Hiring: Demand & Supply Planning SME – Kinaxis Implementation

12-Month Contract | Hybrid – Summit, NJ | Up to 2 Days Onsite/Week | Remote Considered

We’re seeking experienced Demand and Supply Planning Subject Matter Experts to support a major Kinaxis RapidResponse implementation as the organization transitions from SAP APO.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale supply chain transformation, partnering with business leaders, IT, and implementation teams to help define future-state planning processes and support the organization through go-live.

We are hiring for both:

• Demand Planning SMEs

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the business SME for Demand or Supply Planning throughout the Kinaxis implementation.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements with IT, implementation partners, and stakeholders.
• Translate current-state SAP APO planning processes into future-state Kinaxis workflows.
• Participate in design workshops, testing, UAT, and solution validation.
• Identify process improvements and recommend planning best practices.
• Support change management, communications, training, and end-user adoption.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Service, and Finance.
• Support go-live and post-go-live stabilization.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of Demand or Supply Planning experience.
• Hands-on experience supporting a Kinaxis RapidResponse implementation.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, supply planning, and S&OP/IBP.
• Experience gathering requirements and working with technical/implementation teams.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Experience:

• SAP APO, SAP IBP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, or other advanced planning systems.
• Change management or business transformation experience.
• CPG, consumer health, or manufacturing experience.
