Job summary

Kinaxis seeks a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Supply Chain Integration Lead to drive the enterprise-wide transition to Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro. You will own functional success, map business logic, and train end-users to maximize Kinaxis adoption.

As the primary business Lead/SME, you will mitigate risks, validate processes, and partner with IT to ensure accurate demand and supply modeling across thousands of SKUs and global constraints.

Qualifications

• Must be an advanced Kinaxis functional power user (RapidResponse/Maestro).
• Experience leading large migration from legacy systems to Kinaxis.
• Deep experience in complex, large-scale supply chains with thousands of SKUs.
• Proven ability to teach, mentor and train non-technical users.
• Ability to translate supply chain concepts into systems logic for IT.

Kinaxis Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Supply Chain Integration Lead

We are seeking a highly strategic Kinaxis Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the business implementation lead during our enterprise-wide transition to the Kinaxis platform (RapidResponse / Maestro). This is NOT an IT programming or technical systems architect role. The technical execution, coding, and backend data integration will be handled entirely by our IT department.

Instead, we need an advanced Kinaxis power user who has navigated a major legacy-to-Kinaxis implementation lifecycle. You will own the functional success of the migration: anticipating integration pitfalls, ensuring the software accurately models our complex supply and demand ecosystem (thousands of SKUs and raw materials), and driving deep user adoption. You will act as the primary champion for end-users, translating complex supply chain logic into practical Kinaxis functionality and training the team on how to leverage the platform to its fullest capacity.

Core Responsibilities

• Functional Integration Leadership: Act as the primary business Lead/SME during the migration from our legacy software to Kinaxis. Partner closely with IT to ensure business logic, demand signals, and supply constraints are correctly mapped and integrated.
• Risk & Pitfall Mitigation: Leverage past implementation experience to identify, flag, and proactively solve functional pitfalls (e.g., data synchronization lag, forecast distortion, lead-time miscalculations) before they disrupt active supply chain operations.
• Process & Model Validation: Ensure Kinaxis effectively handles high-volume data complexities, including thousands of fluctuating SKUs, multi-tiered bills of materials (BOMs), and global raw material constraints.
• Change Management & Training: Design, develop, and execute a comprehensive training program for planners, buyers, and inventory managers. Own the "Use Case" documentation and lead hands-on workshops to transition teams from the old way of working to Kinaxis best practices.
• Business User Advocacy: Serve as the ultimate functional power user. Translate the daily operational needs of the supply chain team into clear, precise business requirements for the IT technical team to build.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Deep Kinaxis Expertise: Must be an advanced functional power user of Kinaxis RapidResponse / Kinaxis Maestro.
• Proven Integration Track Record: Heavy involvement—ideally as the functional or business lead—in at least one large-scale migration from a legacy ERP/Advanced Planning System (e.g., SAP APO, SAP IBP, Oracle, Blue Yonder) to Kinaxis.
• Enterprise Supply Chain Literacy: Deep experience working within complex, large-scale corporate supply chains managing thousands of SKUs, global raw material sourcing, and highly volatile demand planning environments.
• Exceptional Communication & Training Skills: A proven ability to teach, mentor, and train non-technical business users on how to adopt new software. Must be able to explain complex planning logic simply and clearly.
• The 'Business Bridge' Mindset: Possess the absolute ability to speak fluent "Supply Chain" to business operators and translate it accurately to "Systems Logic" for the IT department.
