Nutramax Laboratories, Inc. in Lancaster, SC, seeks a Supply Chain Specialist to oversee the supply chain process for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods while coordinating with operations, quality, regulatory, purchasing, and finance.

This role will ensure timely, cost-efficient product flow and provide strong cross-functional support. You will design, test, and implement ERP processes, maintain material requirements planning, and drive improvements in GMP-compliant environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of business experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, plus clear written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with computers and a collaborative, fast-paced work style.

Responsabilités

• Develops process flows for manufactured finished goods and ensures manufacturing success and GMP/SOP compliance.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to prevent outages and support production.
• Determine lead-times and drive improvements to speed to market.
• Establish and maintain raw material material requirements planning.
• Develop metrics used to drive improvements across departments.
• Manage inventory levels, schedules, and availability of items to meet production needs.
• Collaborate with Receiving to ensure proper materials are received.
• Trace delinquent arrivals from Purchase Orders.
• Follow environmental and safety regulations and act in compliance with US laws.
• Communicate effectively across departments and work in a team environment.
• Build, test, and implement ERP processes related to material master, BOM, recipes, and other ERP functions.

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.

This role is 100% on site at our Headquarters location: 946 Quality Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720.

Summary of the Position: The Supply Chain Specialist will oversee the Supply Chain Process encompassing raw materials, packaging components, printed material and finished goods. The Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with operations, quality, regulatory, purchasing, marketing/business teams, finance and other functional partners to deliver product in a timely, cost efficient manner. The Supply Chain Specialist will play an integral role in designing, testing, and implementing the enterprise resource planning system.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develops process flows for manufactured finished goods incorporating all Nutramax internal processes required to make manufacturing successful and compliant in accordance to GMP and SOP standards
• Maintain Adequate inventory levels to eliminate outages and improve production
• Determine Lead-Times and Drive Improvements to our speed to market
• Establish and maintain Raw Material requirements planning
• Develop metrics that all parties acknowledge and utilize to drive improvements
• Manage inventory levels, schedules and availability of selected items, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules.
• Work closely with Receiving Department to ensure proper materials are received
• Traces delinquent arrivals from Purchase Orders
• Follows environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with US laws
• Complies with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics
• Regular attendance is required.
• Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives
• Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment
• Build, test, implement systems and processes associated with the material master, bill of materials, recipes, and other ERP functions.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to handle multiple projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills, computer literate, inquisitive, and willing to perform in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of business experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
