Job summary

KLA is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist in the Ann Arbor area to drive performance across planning, execution, and strategic initiatives. You will manage inventory, optimize supply planning, and support lifecycle transitions, with a focus on data-driven improvements.

About the Role

Supply Chain Specialist plays a critical role in driving supply chain performance across planning, execution, and strategic initiatives. The role covers inventory management, supply planning, product lifecycle transitions, and process improvement, depending on business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders without authority.
  • Strong communication skills; present complex topics clearly to leadership.
  • Adjust quickly to changing business priorities and effectively manage multiple competing demands.
  • Understand the business impact of supply chain decisions and operational activities.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and support planning and decision‑making.
  • Make routine operational decisions within established guidelines and processes.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of inventory management principles and their impact on business performance.
  • Support cross‑functional partners, including Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, and Operations.
  • Proactively identify and escalates supply chain risks, constraints, and potential disruptions.
  • Communicate issues, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Takes ownership of assigned workstreams and ensures timely execution of deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with large datasets (Excel required; Power BI, SQL, or similar tools preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Optional: Master’s level degree and 0 years related work experience; or Bachelor’s level degree and related work experience of 2 years.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑paced, and evolving environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of loosely defined problems and drive them to resolution.

Pay & Location

Base Pay Range: $63,000.00 - $107,100.00 annually.
Primary Location: USA - MI - Ann Arbor (KLA)
