Acuity Inc. BUILD program is a two-year rotational experience for high-potential early-career talent. Participants rotate every six months to build business acumen, functional expertise, and professional skills across Acuity.

BUILD targets curious, adaptable, and motivated individuals who seek feedback, own their work, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role begins July 12, 2027, with hybrid work and varying on-site requirements by rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• Interest in sourcing or procurement; coursework, projects or internship preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, project management, and time management.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders and suppliers.
• Interest in supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing and cost management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; data-analysis tools preferred.
• Travel up to 30% availability.
• Leadership experience influencing change, people, or processes.
• Collaborative, adaptable and able to take initiative.
• Internship experience or <2 years related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across Procurement, Sourcing Leader, and Junior Category Leader as determined by business needs.
• Support Transportation Sourcing and New Product Introduction sourcing.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve objectives.

Job Summary

The Acuity Inc. BUILD program is a two-year rotational experience designed to develop high-potential early-career talent through hands-on experience. Participants rotate to a different functional area every six months to build business acumen, functional expertise, and professional skills for future career opportunities across Acuity.

BUILD is designed for curious, adaptable, and motivated early-career talent who demonstrate learning agility, communication, ownership, critical thinking, willingness to seek feedback, solve problems, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.

This role begins July 12, 2027, and has a flexible work location. In-person requirements vary by rotation, with some rotations on-site and others offering flexible arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

Specific projects are determined by business needs. Supply Chain Sourcing Specialists complete rotations across functional areas, balancing individual interests with current company objectives while working alongside experienced colleagues. Rotation opportunities and location expectations include:

• Procurement (on-site at the assigned Acuity location)
• Sourcing Leader (flexible-location rotation with travel as needed)
• Junior Category Leader (flexible-location rotation with travel as needed)

Other exposure areas for Supply Chain Sourcing Specialists include, but are not limited to:

• Transportation Sourcing
• New Product Introduction Sourcing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
• Interest in sourcing or procurement; related coursework, projects, or internship experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, project-management, and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders and suppliers.
• Interest in supplier relationship management, strategic sourcing, cost management, and material productivity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; data-analysis or supply-chain tools preferred.
• Availability to travel up to 30%.
• Leadership experience influencing change, people, or processes.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and able to take initiative and ownership.
• Internship experience and/or less than two years of related work experience preferred.
