Job summary

Gordon Food Service is offering a 12-week paid internship program at our Home Office, providing firsthand experience and meaningful projects that impact our business. You’ll work with industry professionals, receiving mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities across the organization.

As an intern, you’ll gain exposure to supply chain, IT, finance, and merchandising while building connections through networking events, mentorship, and shadowing opportunities that reveal

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in releasing Purchase Orders and replenishing items to support customer in-stock performance.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service levels, days on hand, and product loss.
• Collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and expedite deliveries.
• Supporting inventory management activities, including seasonal buys, product conversions, and obsolete inventory reviews.
