Job summary

Gordon Food Service invites you to apply for a 12-week paid internship at our Home Office. You will gain hands-on experience and mentorship while exploring roles across Communications, Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, Marketing & Merchandising, Supply Chain and Sales.

In the Supply Chain Replenishment track, you will assist in releasing Purchase Orders, monitor KPIs, and help resolve inventory discrepancies with suppliers.

Qualifications

• 12-week paid internship program offering hands-on experience and mentorship.
• Opportunity to work across departments including Communications, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, IT, Marketing & Merchandising, Supply Chain and Sales.
• Must be enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree and must be authorized to work in the US; GPA 3.0+ required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in releasing Purchase Orders and replenishing items to support customer in-stock performance.
• Monitoring KPIs related to service levels, days on hand, and product loss.
• Collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and expedite deliveries.
• Supporting inventory management activities, including seasonal buys, product conversions, and obsolete inventory reviews.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field
