Job summary

Gordon Food Service is offering a 12-week paid internship at our Home Office to build connections and a future in food service distribution. You will work alongside industry professionals, receive mentorship, and contribute to meaningful projects across Transportation, Finance, HR, IT, and Supply Chain.

Interns collaborate with vendors, analyze freight lanes, and gain hands-on experience with data-driven logistics.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Inbound Transportation department across North America and Canada.
• Work with Communications, Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, Marketing & Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.
• Support opportunities to transition freight lanes to Capstone management and analyze lanes for efficiency.
• Collect and analyze logistics data to support freight operation growth.
• Shadow roles across the organization to explore career paths.
