Job summary

AkzoNobel is seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager in High Point, NC to lead strategic initiatives that enhance inventory performance, reduce excess stock, and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations within a global organization.

You will collaborate with Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Logistics and regional leadership to drive sustainable improvements, deliver measurable results, and influence supply chain strategy across regions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or Project Management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing supply chain improvement or inventory optimization initiatives.
• Experience working in or closely supporting R&D environments, with understanding of product development and stage-gate processes preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to support new product introductions and supply chain readiness.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SAP, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Project Management methodologies is a plus.

The salary range for these skills is: $95.000 to $110,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.

This role eligible for an annual bonus target of 10%, based on individual and company performance.
