Job summary

BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support the CISO by executing and driving cybersecurity programs focused on resilience, governance, and risk management. This role emphasizes management of programs, not hands-on tool deployment, with clear status reporting to the CISO and executives.

You will lead cross-functional teams, establish metrics, manage budgets, and coordinate with partners to align cyber transformation with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk management, or related fields.
• 5+ years in leadership roles managing large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
• Proven track record of successful organizational change management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

Job description

The Sr. Program Manager will be the right hand to the CISO and execute/drive cybersecurity programs. This is not managing technology. Do not send me people who are implementing cybersecurity tools. This person will be managing cyber programs. This person will need to have strong communication skills to present the status of the programs and at times represent the CISO.
