Harvey Nash USA is seeking a Materials Program Manager to support innovative, consumer devices for a global leader in e-commerce and technology. You will partner with engineering, supply chain, and operations to manage cost, schedule, supplier, and NPI deliverables.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years in materials, supply chain, or hardware programs and can work cross-functionally. This role offers exposure across teams and an opportunity to influence cost and product success.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in materials, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, engineering, or program/project management.
  • Experience or exposure to BOMs, components, materials, costing, procurement, or supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and external suppliers.
  • Some technical knowledge or exposure to hardware products; electrical or mechanical experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver program financial and cost models, including BOM/MVA, tooling, and NRE.
  • Partner with engineering, supply chain, and operations to establish cost and schedule targets at the commodity level.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of components to support NPI and production builds.
  • Coordinate across internal teams to drive program execution and minimize escalations.
  • Track actual costs and milestones against targets and drive corrective actions.
  • Lead NPI meetings to understand cost impact of engineering changes.
  • Work with third-party suppliers to establish PO costs and manage supplier relationships.
  • Drive SOW and product/supplier contract negotiations.
  • Manage purchase price variance claims and schedule delays related to changes.
  • Develop cost-reduction forecasts with supply chain and operations.
  • Support executive product-line reviews by communicating performance against budget and schedule.
  • Serve as business owner for key supplier relationships.

Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a talented Materials Program Manager (MPM) to support innovative, custom-designed consumer devices for a global leader in e-commerce and technology. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with experience or exposure to materials, supply chain, manufacturing, NPI, or hardware programs who enjoy working cross-functionally and managing cost, schedule, supplier, and product deliverables.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver program financial and cost models, including BOM/MVA, tooling, and NRE.
  • Partner with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to establish program cost and schedule targets at the commodity level.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of components to support NPI and production builds.
  • Coordinate across diverse internal teams to drive program execution and minimize escalations.
  • Track actual costs and program milestones against targets, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
  • Participate in and lead NPI meetings to understand the cost impact of engineering and process changes.
  • Work with third-party suppliers to establish product purchase order costs and manage supplier relationships.
  • Drive SOW and product/supplier contract negotiations.
  • Manage purchase price variance claims and schedule delays related to engineering changes, component obsolescence, and forecast variance.
  • Partner with supply chain and operations teams to develop cost-reduction forecasts and achieve program financial goals.
  • Support executive product-line reviews by communicating performance against budget, target cost, actual cost, and schedule.
  • Serve as the business owner for key supplier relationships supporting major modules and final assembly.
Must-Have Skills
  • 0–2 years of experience in materials, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, engineering, or program/project management.
  • Experience or academic exposure to BOMs, components, materials, costing, procurement, or supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and external suppliers.
  • Some technical knowledge or exposure to hardware products; electrical or mechanical experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with NPI or production builds.
  • Electrical or mechanical engineering experience.
  • Supplier management or procurement experience.
  • Experience with cost tracking, variance analysis, or cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Familiarity with BOM/MVA, tooling, NRE, SOWs, or purchase price variance.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $45 - $53 Hourly on W2.
