Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Supply Chain Process Engineering Intern in Phoenix to help analyze, measure, design, and support improvements across distribution and fulfillment processes to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This on-site internship runs from June to August 2027 and may lead to a full-time role. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct time studies, develop SOPs, and produce documentation while gaining hands-on industry experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate or bachelors degree, graduating between fall 2027 and spring 2028.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri) 8:00am5:00pm Central Time.
• Must reside within commutable distance to Phoenix DDC or be willing to relocate without relocation assistance.
• Experience with engineered labor standards preferred.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or related coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Process Engineering team in identifying, verifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements.
• Assist in developing engineered labor standards by conducting time studies.
• Participate in design and development of distribution/fulfillment processes to refine operations and reporting.
• Identify potential impacts to other areas and present recommendations to leadership.
• Prepare financial presentations, process documentation, and SOPs.

Asthe Supply ChainProcess Engineering Intern,you’llhave the opportunity to play a vital role on the Process Engineering team inoptimizingand improving the overall efficiency of Supply Chain processes with Best Buy.You’llanalyze, measure, design, and support the implementation of supply chain processes to ensure consistent cost-effective operations, and drive customer satisfaction. Within the team,you’llcollaborate with cross-functional areas including Distribution Operations Support, Field Operations, and Global Logistics & Trade, etc. toidentifyareas of improvement, develop innovative solutions and drive operational excellence. In this role, you will gain insights into how we approach many challenges associated with being one of the nation’s leading retailers.This internship will also provide you with the opportunity to developindustry-relatedskills in a professional environment, build your network with Best Buy employees, and explore a wide range of career paths.

This internship will be available from June to August 2027. This role is on site, which means you wouldbe requiredto work on site at the Best Buy Delivery Distribution Center (DDC) in Phoenix, AZ. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

• Must be able to commit tothestart and end date of5/31/2027- 8/6/2027
• Mustresidewithin a commutable distance to thePhoenix, AZ DDC or be willing torelocatewithout relocationassistance

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Engineered Labor Standards
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma,Lean Six SigmaCertificationor relevant coursework
• Experience with CAD or AutoCAD
• Experience in a hands-on manufacturing or warehousing environment
• Experience with project management
• Strong knowledge of 5S and Safety Standards in Supply Chain
• Major in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, Supply ChainManagementor related field
