Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Supply Chain Process & Data Analyst to improve data quality, reporting, and system usage across ERP, purchasing, planning, and supplier performance processes.

The role partners with multiple functions to translate business needs into practical data solutions, develop Power BI dashboards, and support performance management initiatives. A strong analytical mindset and experience with ERP data are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Operations Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, operations, logistics, quality, finance, analytics, data management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain, purchasing, planning, supplier management, and operations processes to identify inefficiencies, data issues, procedural gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Serve as a business-facing analytical resource for supply chain systems, ERP processes, purchasing tools, reporting platforms, supplier performance data, and related data integration points.
  • Apply strong business acumen to interpret supply chain data, understand operational impacts, and translate analysis into practical recommendations that support quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and service objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and recurring reports to support supplier performance, purchasing execution, inventory visibility, planning effectiveness, and business performance management.
  • Lead data validation, profiling, cleanup, and governance activities to improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of supply chain data across internal systems.
  • Partner with buyers, planners, category managers, operations, finance, quality, and IT to define reporting needs, document business requirements, and support system or process enhancements.
  • Support Infor XA ERP processes, data analysis, reporting, issue resolution, and business process improvements where applicable.
  • Troubleshoot data, process, and system issues impacting supply chain execution; support root-cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Map, document, and standardize supply chain processes to align business requirements, system capabilities, and standard work expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, reduce rework, improve data visibility, and simplify supply chain decision‑making.
  • Support supply chain improvement projects, including scope definition, milestone tracking, stakeholder coordination, testing, training, implementation support, and results tracking.
  • Monitor supplier, purchasing, planning, inventory, quality, delivery, and cost performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in cross-functional project reviews, launch readiness activities, process improvement events, and business performance discussions.
  • Train buyers and cross-functional users on dashboards, reports, system processes, data definitions, and best practices.

Supply Chain Process & Data Analyst

The Supply Chain Process & Data Analyst supports the supply chain organization by improving business processes, data quality, reporting, system usage, and performance visibility. This role partners with purchasing, planning, operations, logistics, quality, finance, IT, suppliers, and category teams to translate business needs into practical data, process, and system solutions.

The analyst will combine supply chain business acumen with strong analytical capability to identify performance gaps, improve decision-making, standardize processes, and support system-enabled improvements. This role will help ensure that supply chain data is accurate, actionable, and aligned with business objectives across ERP, reporting, purchasing, planning, and supplier performance processes.

YOUR IMPACT

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Operations Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Finance, or related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, operations, logistics, quality, finance, analytics, data management, or a related field.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience analyzing business processes, supply chain data, operational performance, or ERP-related data.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data, process performance, system behavior, and operational outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in root-cause analysis, data validation, KPI development, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and translate data insights into practical business actions.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, follow-through, time management, and the ability to prioritize competing requirements.
