Kids for the Future is seeking a Supply Chain Process Coordinator in Shelbyville, IL to oversee and stabilize cross-functional supply chain processes. This senior individual contributor role focuses on root cause analysis, process improvement, and ERP/MRP alignment, aiming to reduce inefficiencies, cut manual steps, and improve shipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (4-year degree).
  • Strong data analysis and ERP/MRP workflow experience.
  • Experience coordinating across Purchasing, Logistics, Accounting, and Production.

Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison across Purchasing, Logistics, Accounting, Production, Supplier Development, and Supplier Quality.
  • Coordinate shipment, inventory, and documentation information flow.
  • Investigate part shortages, premium freight, inventory issues, and supplier problems.
  • Perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions.
  • Maintain international shipment tracking and documentation.
  • Support ERP shipment creation and tracking.
  • Prepare in-transit reporting for month-end close.
  • Assist with freight invoice coding, review, and vouching.
  • Create and distribute supplier scorecards.
  • Support supplier audits and onboarding documentation.
  • Validate data accuracy in ERP.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and assist with improvements.
  • Provide backup support to Purchasing and Logistics.

Description

The Supply Chain Process Coordinator is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for coordinating and stabilizing cross-functional supply chain processes. This position supports daily execution across Purchasing, Logistics, Accounting, Production, Supplier Development, and Supplier Quality by ensuring accurate data flow, timely communication, and standardized processes.

This role operates as a hands-on liaison and problem solver, focusing on root cause analysis, process improvement, and system alignment (ERP/MRP). The coordinator will work to reduce inefficiencies, eliminate manual processes, and support the organization’s supply chain initiatives related to inventory control, supplier performance, and shipment visibility.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as liaison across Purchasing, Logistics, Accounting, Production, Supplier Development, and Supplier Quality
  • Coordinate shipment, inventory, and documentation information flow

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
  • Be able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to wear proper safety gear/PPE as needed
  • Repetitive standing, bending, turning, and twisting for extended periods of time
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach at arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Must be able to pass drug/alcohol test and background screen
  • Use of both hands, arms, and shoulders (full range of motion)
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The pay range provided represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications, while maintaining fairness with internal pay structures. We ensure compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws, including those related to minimum pay requirements.
