Job summary

Blue Nile seeks an Analyst, Supply Chain Planning to provide analytical foundations for demand, supply, and inventory decisions. You will automate reporting, investigate variances, and translate large datasets into actionable recommendations for leadership.

Role involves store sales performance, replenishment analytics, and collaboration across planning, merchandising, and technology. Strong Python/SQL and BI tooling are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field with strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience with large, complex datasets and demand/supply analytics preferred.
• Familiarity with retail/store replenishment, allocation, or store performance analytics valued.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics, reporting and performance management for forecasting, replenishment, and inventory decisions.
• Build and automate recurring reporting and dashboards including forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory turns.
• Collaborate with Demand & Supply Planning to improve forecasting and replenishment decisions.
• Analyze store-level sales performance and inventory availability across locations and channels.
• Automate recurring analysis in Python to reduce manual planning effort.
