A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned:

• Analyzes, develops, and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.
• Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives, including promotional activities, forecasting, coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns.
• Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM

Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower-level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing projects—from design to implementation—adhering to policies, and using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science, or related field preferred.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Access, Macros in Excel, VBA, and other IT tools.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes.
