Job summary

Smart Resources Group in Ogden, UT is seeking a Supply Chain Planner with 2+ years in planning, demand/purchasing, or materials management. The role focuses on MRP/ERP-driven material planning and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with GMP/food safety is preferred; Dynamics AX is a plus. You will manage POs, expedite orders, support S&OP, and maintain planning dashboards to optimize production flow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in supply chain planning, demand planning, purchasing, or materials management.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and inventory planning.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making.
• Knowledge of S&OP, demand and supply planning.
• Manufacturing experience required; food/beverage sector preferred.
• Dynamics AX experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, release, and manage purchase orders based on demand.
• Reschedule and expedite orders for changing production needs.
• Use MRP to plan material requirements and maintain inventory.
• Monitor supplier production schedules, capacity, and delivery performance.
• Support S&OP activities with demand and supply planning reviews.
• Coordinate material availability for uninterrupted production.
• Communicate daily with suppliers about orders, deliveries, shortages, and schedule changes.
• Maintain planning metrics, reports, and dashboards.
• Ensure GMP, food safety, quality, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
