Job summary

X Energy, LLC in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Supply Chain leader to shape and execute ERP readiness, architecture, and strategic planning.

You will guide warehousing, material flow, and cross-functional teams across procurement, facilities, and IT to ensure compliant, efficient operations and early risk mitigation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or similar field is required.
  • Typically, five years of experience in a supply chain planning, business systems, or related role required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently develop and execute both short-term and long-term business plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in the development of budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans with minimal supervision.
  • Must demonstrate strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
  • Must have the ability to interact effectively with team leaders, team members, and leadership.
  • Proficiency in business management software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to meet export control requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support ERP implementation execution, including the development of supporting architecture solutions.
  • Analyze and inform upon practical, cost-effective warehousing and material flow management solutions.
  • Collaborate with operational and support teams, such as procurement, facilities, and IT/data, to identify compliance requirements early in project development and to integrate such requirements into executable plans. Work with teams to create and implement organizational systems and procedures.
  • Analyze current business operations and forecast future business needs.
  • Develop business plans and strategies as requested. Deliver business support plans on time, enabling leadership team members to make informed decisions on cost, schedule, risk, and compliance.
  • Monitor and identify potential risks, develop and implement mitigation plans early, defining clear ownership and escalation protocols to reduce reactive responses and late-stage project surprises.
  • Ensure Supply Chain has a predictable delivery schedule with minimal rework to ensure that they are ready when needed by operations.
  • Design plans to align with nuclear quality and regulatory requirements, supporting NRC and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate projects and initiatives with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic effectiveness, resulting in fewer execution disruptions and improved predictability.
  • Standardize planning processes to ensure repeatability, improving team maturity and execution.
  • Develop business reports and presentations.
  • Create operating budgets and capital budgets in conjunction with other leadership team members. Develop short- and long-term cost containment/reduction strategies.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

This role develops, implements, and manages Supply Chain business strategies and plans to help achieve organizational goals. Location: Oak Ridge, TN

Work Site Expectations: 5 days onsite

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri

Compensation

As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.). Individual candidates who meet the job requirements for the posted position will be offered a salary within this range based on their respective levels of education/training, experience, and other qualifications unique to them. Salary ranges may vary based on the specific office location and region referenced in the posting to take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits or other incentives.

Offers within the posted salary range are commensurate with the individual's qualifications for the position, along with a view on internal equity, market data, and room for growth. The salary range for this position is:
$98,500 -$116,000
