Job summary

SBM Life Science is offering a paid internship in our Cary, NC location for fall and winter. The role supports the supply chain and operations department, with training across multiple teams and projects conducted five days per week from October through May.

You will collect and analyze data, create presentations for upper management, and assist with day-to-day administrative tasks while learning about CPg/manufacturing industry. This internship emphasizes confidentiality and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or a recent college graduate in a related field.
• Experience using Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new processes quickly and efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work in our Cary, NC office 5 days a week October - May, (full time hours).

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-the-job training and learn from experienced managers in various departments.
• Complete assigned tasks and projects given on a week-to-week basis.
• Collaborate with different team members and departments to complete goals and projects.
• Compile and analyze data to put together presentations for upper management.
• Support the teams in day-to-day tasks and administrative duties.
• Adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively to complete projects on schedule.
• Continuously learn new skills and knowledge related to the company industry (CPG/Manufacturing).
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information.
