Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Coordinator 2 or 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Palmdale, CA.
1st shift, 4/10s schedule Monday – Thursday
Position is onsite, UNABLE to accommodate a telecommute/hybrid schedule.
Essential Functions:
Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
Provides administrative, tactical, and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain process areas, primarily Supply Chain planning and Supply Chain Sourcing, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations.
Loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.
Release of Work Orders within S4/MES.
Verification of completed Kits for 100% Accuracy of quantities and part numbers.
Issuance of Material to Integration/Production.
Monitor Shortage reports.
Conveys materials using hand truck, forklift, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids by lifting heavy objects by hand.
Works closely with the Integration team and shop floor.
Basic Qualifications (Level 2):
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience in Supply Chain, Material Requirements Planning, Logistics, Material Handling, Warehousing, and/or Inventory Control.
Experience with MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
SAP Inventory system experience.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time.
Valid driver’s license, or ability to obtain one.
Ability to obtain / maintain a DOD Secret Clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Basic Qualifications (Level 3):
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience in Supply Chain, Material Requirements Planning, Logistics, Material Handling, Warehousing, and/or Inventory Control.
Experience with MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
SAP Inventory system experience.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience using S4/SAP/MES.
Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Salary Range: $42,000 - $70,000
Salary Range 2: $50,000 - $83,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
