Johnson Controls invites recent graduates to join a two-year Supply Chain & Operations Rotational Program across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites. You will gain hands-on experience in production supervision, materials planning, procurement, logistics, quality, and Lean/Continuous Improvement.

Relocation support is provided for each rotation, with a strong benefits package and mentorship to develop leadership capabilities in smart, sustainable building systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
• Within 2 years of graduation or currently enrolled with a scheduled graduation between December 2024 and May 2027.
• Willingness to relocate to a different plant location every six months (relocation costs covered).
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident (visa sponsorship not available).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.

• Learn the JCI Business System and support plants to meet KPIs.
• Optimize daily production and assess scheduling and cycle times for efficiency.

What You Will Do

Rotational associates will impact all aspects of JCI supply chain through four six-month rotations at four of our manufacturing plants across the country, including but not limited to: Marinette, WI; York, PA; Largo, FL; San Antonio, TX; Lubbock, TX. Locations are subject to change based on business need, and associates are not guaranteed a specific location.

Note: If you apply to this role in any location, you will be considered for all locations where the program is offered. Johnson Controls also provides full relocation support for each rotation.

How You Will Do It

• Participate in Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects
• Learn the JCI Business System and support plants to meet and exceed KPIs
• Optimize daily production, ensuring smooth operations through efficiency analysis, scheduling analysis, and evaluating cycle times
• Improve processes for manufacturing floor enabling operational efficiency.
• Implement measures to minimize waste

What We Look For

• Comfortable relocating to a different plant location every six months (relocation costs covered)
• Relevant work, internship, extracurricular, or project experience in manufacturing, operations or logistics
• Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar
• Either recently graduated (within 2 years) or currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university, with a scheduled graduation date between December 2024 and May 2027
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities
• Robust communication skills, both written and verbal
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident as we're unable to sponsor visas for these roles
