Job summary

TRIUMPH is seeking an Operations Analyst (Supply Chain Specialist) to ensure materials are available for production while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

You will purchase raw materials, monitor inventory accuracy, and support production scheduling through cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Customer Service, Production, Quality, and Suppliers to minimize disruptions and maintain on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience purchasing, inventory control, planning, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and supplier relationship management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials, packaging, and production supplies based on demand and inventory requirements.
• Issue purchase orders and maintain PO info in ERP.
• Monitor supplier confirmations and overdue acknowledgments.
• Track supplier shipments and expedite critical materials.
• Investigate shortages, pricing discrepancies, and invoice issues.
• Maintain supplier lead times and purchasing parameters.
• Maintain forecasts for raw materials.
• Drive cost savings through purchasing practices.
• Support supply chain activities across multiple sites.
