Position Overview

Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain Execution is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist (L2) to join their team in San Antonio, TX. This role supports the execution of supply chain solutions both internally within Boeing and externally with customers, primarily supporting the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul modification center. Relevant experience with export control and logistics management is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage material demand
  2. Implement supply chain strategies such as inventory reduction, kitting, supplier consolidation, and lead-time reduction
  3. Understand system inter-relationships and apply systems thinking to improve performance
  4. Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement solutions, and measure impact
  5. Analyze post-production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities
  6. Coordinate customer material and delivery requirements
  7. Demonstrate responsibility and accountability in duties
  8. Experience with export control and logistics process execution

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years in Supply Chain and/or Materials Management
  2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years in fast-paced environments with strict deadlines
  2. Experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and Procurement
  3. Experience communicating with internal/external customers and leadership
  4. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
