Primary Processes

Purpose: Support plant production control systems and materials management. Support the company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Coach and develop Production Control Team Members/Leaders by fostering the EPIQ Way.

  1. Perform all internal inventory audits and daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
  2. Assure systematic moves for material going to NCH (non-conforming hold) locations and out of NCH locations.
  3. Supervise Production Control Team Leaders/Members as direct reports, developing all through problem solving and The EPIQ Way. Assist in hiring, coaching, and recommendations for promotion and/or separation.
  4. Monitor inventory in special areas, ensuring material is moving back into inventory or being scrapped out.
  5. Plan daily production to manage customer demand and fluctuations.
  6. Maintain inventory accuracy according to EnovaPremier MRP standards.
  7. Process supplier RGAs, including logistics of shipments, post systematic move to update inventory.
  8. Manage all prototype or special customer orders outside of normal ordering process (e.g., EDI).
  9. Create weekly orders for suppliers, verify, and update CMS and production plan.
  10. Track late loads at all hours via internet, phone, and text.
  11. Manage trailer and contracted shunt drivers.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Analytical Ability: Strong decision-making ability.

Communication Ability: Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary business-related information.

Computer Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel. MRP experience and inventory management experience required.

Education and Competencies: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Management Experience: 1-2 years of supervisory experience.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications: 3 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong logistical background. Knowledge of inventory control procedures. Results-oriented with a customer-first mentality.

Hours:

  • Split shift: 2pm – 11pm; starting at 7:15pm with flexibility to change to 6:30pm and work until 4am-6am in the absence of the Production Specialist.
  • 100% onsite in Princeton, Indiana.
  • Training hours may vary.

Essential Functions:

  1. Stand, walk, squat, and stoop for 8-12 hour shifts.
  2. Lift 50-85 lbs regularly.
  3. Use computer and phone.
  4. Perform rapid, repetitive activities in a machine-paced environment.
  5. Bend at the waist.
  6. Work in non-climate-controlled areas where applicable.
  7. See colors.
  8. Lift, pull, push, grip, and demonstrate strong dexterity.

Supervisory Authority:

2pm-11pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends.
