This role involves translating demand forecasts into accurate material requirements to ensure on-time delivery. Material Planner

Role Overview

The Material Planner translates demand forecasts and production plans into accurate material requirements, ensuring the right inventory is available to support on‑time, in‑full delivery. The role collaborates cross‑functionally with procurement, manufacturing and logistics to manage supplier performance, resolve shortages, and continuously optimize inventory levels and planning processes. This position reports to the Supply Chain Planning Manager and is part of the Eugene Operations team located in Eugene, Oregon; it is an on‑site role.

Key Responsibilities

• Own inventory and service performance, directly impacting customer delivery and business results.
• Develop advanced planning and ERP capabilities (Oracle), strengthening analytical and systems expertise.
• Partner cross‑functionally across procurement, manufacturing and logistics, building strong stakeholder alignment while solving complex supply challenges end‑to‑end.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4+ years of experience in supply chain, materials, or production planning within a manufacturing environment (biotech, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry preferred).
• Experience managing material supply for a portfolio of SKUs and resolving shortages, supplier delays, and supply constraints to support uninterrupted production.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Experience with dynamic kanban or other physical inventory management systems.
