Hiring a Supply Chain Manager
Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
Position Type: Part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) or Full-time

About the Role

A growing e-commerce brand in the health and wellness space is seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Manager. This role is critical to ensuring smooth and cost-effective supply chain operations—from forecasting and procurement to vendor coordination and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels across all SKUs with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Forecast product demand and proactively identify when to reorder stock.

  • Use tools like Inventory Planner for demand planning and inventory forecasting (experience with this tool is a strong plus).

  • Place and manage purchase orders across the product portfolio.

  • Communicate and negotiate with manufacturers to ensure timely and budget-conscious procurement.

  • Maintain organized records of all inventory, purchase orders, shipments, and vendor communications.

  • Coordinate product shipments between manufacturers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.

  • Deliver regular reports on inventory status and supply chain operations.

  • Assist with broader operations initiatives, especially cross-functional tasks that fall between departments.

Qualifications

  • Required: Experience in supply chain or inventory management for e-commerce companies.

  • : Familiarity with the skincare, haircare, or health & wellness industries.

  • Strong negotiation skills and proven experience in managing purchase orders and vendor relationships.

  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.

  • Comfortable using digital tools such as Inventory Planner, Google Sheets/Excel, and project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello).

  • U.S.-based applicants only; preference for time zones outside of the West Coast.

Work Structure & Hiring Process

  • Flexible schedule: open to both part-time (20+ hours/week) and full-time candidates.
