Job summary

MANE, Merry Hill, NC, seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead planning, logistics, warehouse operations, and MRO purchasing for our Ingredients division.

You will coordinate with Customer Service, Production and Purchasing to meet demand, drive continuous improvement, and manage inventory while aligning with MANE's environmental commitments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of supply chain experience.
• Purchasing experience is preferable.
• Experience in transportation scheduling (in and outbound).
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, and MRO purchasing.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Production, and Purchasing to meet demand.
• Drive continuous improvement to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
• Analyze inventory to maintain optimal levels.
• Manage warehouse activities: receiving, shipping, and storage.
• Translate customer forecasts into S&OP inputs with Demand Planning & Finance.
• Identify new indirect supply sources and manage KPI adoption.
• Maintain departmental files and support environmental initiatives.

We have a newly created position for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our Ingredients division in Merry Hill, NC. This position leads and directs all facets of supply chain management including, but not limited to warehousing, inventory management, material forecasting, scheduling, capacity planning, inventory control, in-direct buying.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of Planning, Logistics, Warehouse Departments & MRO buying
• Coordinates efforts with the Customer Service, Production and Purchasing teams to ensure supply meeting our customer needs
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline process and improve accuracy and efficiency within operations
• Analyze and manages inventory to achieve optimal inventory levels
• Manage the warehouse function including receiving of raw materials, shipping of finished goods and organizing of warehouse(s)
• Coordinate with Demand Planning, Finance & Purchasing to translate customer forecasts as part of the S&OP process
• Identifies and reviews opportunities for new supply sources for indirect purchases per departmental procedures
• Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors
• Identifying adoption of KPIs as they apply to Supply Chain successes.
• Maintains numerous department files and records
• Handle special tasks and projects as requested in order to meet company objectives
• Consistent with MANE’s environmental commitments, every employee shall actively participate in relevant education/training based upon corporate and local environmental objectives. Management shall support and facilitate the actions within their teams to effectively and adequately implement environmental policies, procedures and practices, as well as promote continual improvement consistent with environmental goals

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ Years Supply Chain Experience
• Purchasing experience preferable
• Experience in transportation scheduling (in and out bound)
• SAP experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office
