Location: Orange County, CA (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full time /Direct Hire

Hybrid role with ability to come into office occasionally for meetings. Otherwise, remote due to HIGH TRAVEL.. 75% to local suppliers within Orange County area. If candidate resides in Orange county, 50% of suppliers are within 2 hr. drive.

Ideal Candidate:

*Aerospace Supplier experience residing in Orange County. Someone in a similar Supplier performance within an Aerospace Mfg. This is a ROAD Warrior role requiring 50-75% travel. 50% travel would be within Orange County, CA area. Other travel .. via flight within US or NA. Short travel trips typically with 1 day overnight.

The Network Supplier Performance Manager reports to the Operations Fulfillment Manager in a newly expanded organization dedicated to improving the global performance of Aerospace Company FMC suppliers globally. This role will be partnered with the network planning organization, manufacturing facilities and the Procurement Center of Excellence to ensure the proper flow of material to meet and exceed customer expectations and address under-performing suppliers to drive and sustain supplier performance improvements for the assigned network.

* Must be willing to travel up to 75%. Mostly local daily travel to suppliers via auto within Orange County, CA.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain management from an accredited institution
• 6+ years of procurement experience
• 6+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management supporting a manufacturing environment
• 8+ years in supply chain management
• 4+ more years of experience leading multi-functional teams or projects
• 4+ more years of Supply Chain experience in the aerospace industry
• Must reside within 50 miles of any of Irvine/Orange Country , CA.
