Advantage Technical seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager in Westminster, MD to lead purchasing, sourcing, logistics, inventory, receiving, and shipping for a manufacturing environment.

You will drive supplier performance, ensure material availability, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 10+ years in supply chain, purchasing, or procurement in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership managing cross-functional supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing, receiving, shipping, freight, and inventory teams.
• Develop supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
• Manage sourcing strategies, vendor onboarding, and supplier performance programs.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, material traceability, and ERP transactions.

Supply Chain Manager

Location: Westminster, MD

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000

Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite | Flexible 9/80 Work Schedule

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead purchasing, sourcing, logistics, inventory, receiving, and shipping operations for a growing manufacturing organization. This leadership role is responsible for driving supplier performance, ensuring material availability, reducing costs, supporting production goals, and maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing, receiving, shipping, freight, and inventory teams.
• Develop supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
• Manage sourcing strategies, vendor onboarding, and supplier performance programs.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, material traceability, and ERP transactions.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency.
• Support compliance with AS9100, FAR/DFAR, government contracting requirements, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Production, Sales, Accounting, and Program Management teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost savings initiatives, and supply chain optimization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 10+ years of supply chain, purchasing, or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional supply chain operations.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems; QAD experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory control, logistics, sourcing, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Schedule Process

• Flexible 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.
